Terms of Use for the Ishavskraft App
General
These Terms of Use apply when using the Ishavskraft app provided by Ishavskraft. By downloading and using the Ishavskraft app, you accept these Terms of Use. If, at any time, you no longer accept them, you must delete the app from your phone.
Use of the app requires the processing of certain personal data necessary to deliver the services available within the app. You can read more about this below.
The Ishavskraft app is provided and operated by Ishavskraft AS, organization number NO 979 139 268, Markveien 6, 9510 Alta, Norway (hereinafter referred to as Ishavskraft).
Purpose of the App
The purpose of the Ishavskraft app is to give you insight into your customer relationship and electricity consumption, helping you to use less electricity and save money.
When using the app, you gain access to, among other things:
- An overview of your electricity consumption and bills
- Details about your electricity plan and customer information
- Electricity prices and your consumption-related costs
- Push notifications, customer benefits, and self-service options
- News updates
To access all app features, you must be an Ishavskraft customer and create a user account. This account is linked to your active customer relationship. You do not need to provide additional information beyond what you already submitted when entering into your electricity agreement with Ishavskraft.
You can share access to the Ishavskraft app with others. This requires the invited person to create their own user account. Shared users can view, but not modify, information in the app.
Limitations
The Ishavskraft app is available for Android, iOS, and via Min Side on www.ishavskraft.no in a web browser. Even if your device meets the technical requirements, Ishavskraft cannot guarantee that you will never experience downtime or similar interruptions.
Ishavskraft strives for 100 % uptime but occasional downtime may occur due to technical issues, maintenance, testing, or updates.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for any changes you make to your customer relationship through the app. If you make an unintended purchase or change, you must contact Customer Service immediately.
Costs
Use of the app itself is free of charge. Ishavskraft reserves the right to introduce additional paid services within the app at a later stage.
Privacy
When using the Ishavskraft app, our apply. These describe your rights and our obligations under applicable privacy laws. In the section “Ishavskraft App,” you can read more about how we process data in connection with your use of the app.
Contact Information and Communication
By using the Ishavskraft app, you consent to Ishavskraft communicating with you through electronic channels such as in-app notifications, email, or SMS. You can enable or disable push notifications in the app settings at any time.
Termination and Account Suspension
Ishavskraft may suspend or restrict your access to the app if you provide incorrect information, impersonate another person, or otherwise misuse the app in violation of these Terms of Use.
Changes
Ishavskraft may modify the content, features, products, or services available in the app. This may also include removal or discontinuation of features in the app. Such changes may require updates to these Terms of Use, and Ishavskraft reserves the right to amend them.
You will be notified if significant changes are made.
As the app is continuously evolving, certain products or services may not always be available. The most recent version of these Terms of Use will always be accessible in the app and on www.ishavskraft.no.
Intellectual Property Rights
Ishavskraft holds all rights to the Ishavskraft app, including, but not limited to, the concept, design, trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property.
Except for private use, it is not permitted to distribute any material from the app without prior written consent.
Duration and Termination
These Terms of Use apply for as long as the Ishavskraft app is installed on your device.
Please note that your customer relationship with Ishavskraft continues even if you delete the app. You can terminate your electricity plan at www.ishavskraft.no or by contacting Customer Service.
Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Use are governed by and shall be interpreted in accordance with Norwegian law. Any disputes arising from the use of the app should first be resolved through dialogue between you and Ishavskraft. If a dispute cannot be settled amicably, it may be brought before the ordinary courts of law, with Ishavskraft’s jurisdiction as the agreed legal jurisdiction.
